Nicholas Phoenix

Concept art for one of three characters I'm currently working on. So everything about this guy could end up changing really lol.
I've been doing a tone of sketching of all three and this is my first real attempt at finalizing one of them.

This is Nicholas, he's a phoenix, he can be very vain at times, constantly aware of his posture when he thinks people are looking at him (and he thinks they're looking at him all the time). He's somewhat of a know-it-all, spending a lot of time reading, hating to admit when he doesn't know an answer to something.
Even though he spends time out at social gatherings he does get lonely from time to time. Although likes his solitude too. (or perhaps thinks he does)
He's pretty well off, owning a large house full of expensive things and lots of books.

lol I'm having a lot of fun at the moment playing around with these characters. Hopefully I'll get the other two up soon and a bit more info about them.
